CUSTOM CRUISER

Modifying a vehicle is something that requires patience, determination and a strive to stand out from the common crowd, and to be honest, we have yet to feature a car in this online magazine that is as stand-outish then Beau’s beast.

This car turns heads but not in the way that many would think. The exterior looks so simple and the build so well thought out that even people who are not enthusiasts ask those around what they just saw.

The car in question is actually a 1969 FJ45 Landcruiser which has a fully engineered 1977 CL Chrysler Ute high mounted 289 Windsor with custom camshaft, racing pistons, port and polished heads and 600 Holley carburettor. All of this bolts onto a C4 Auto.

Custom built inner guards house extractors which protrude out of the side of the car into Shelby Cobra style side pipes, which make it just that more difficult to get into the car with its jacked-up suspension.

It is nice to see some people taking the initiative to create some rides which stand out so much and stay different to the normal rides cars that cruise the streets. We hope this may be the start of some crazy builds to come.
