With the unfortunate decline in Sydney based car shows, the car enthusiasts of the city were delighted to see the return of “Show Car Sunday” which was held at Rosehill Racecourse within the inner west.

With hundreds of some of Sydney’s elite show cars bidding for over 40 awards, the judges were working overtime just to meet a mutual decision. Every type of car made its presence felt with the main style being 4 cylinders. Custom stereos were playing all day and drawing the attention of the masses as the chrome from all of the wheels made sunglasses almost a prerequisite to enter.

With the majority of the awards being shared by three of Sydney’s biggest custom body shops, you can see just how hard you have to try to stand out above the rest. But the real winner of the day was the Westmead Children’s Hospital with thousand of dollars being raised from patrons and proceeds from the door.

With such a successful day, we only hope that the show keeps growing and becomes one of Sydney’s biggest events for car and bike enthusiasts, as well as the families who spend the day together checking out the latest creations
