This annual event is nothing new. It is the annual pilgrimage point for all car, bike and truck builders. Every year in the past showed some of the most immaculate rides with extreme attention to detail and this year was even better. 
Whether it was in the hall or out on the street, you couldn’t turn anywhere without being smacked in the face with loud engines, loud paint, loud stereos and of course the loud crowd. 
Again, a few smaller hot hatches competed for the honour of the top prize, showing again how as time passes, the quality in all rides increases. It has been discussed that this may well have been the last Summernats either in Canberra or in Australia, but lets hope that it stays so that we can once again meet up under the hot sun and kick back to relax as some of the best street and show cars parade for everyone in a week long event.
