Held on the 2nd of November 2008, Supernats again showed exactly how a high horsepower show needs to be presented. With big name engine builders attending and proving their workmanship on the drag strip, the crowds were always entertained with burnouts, drag races and a show of highly detailed and maintained vehicles.

The show catered to all types of enthusiasts with old school and high-tech cars scattered around the premises. Many high horsepower Nissan Skyline’s and Toyota Supra’s battled it out on the drag strip with the Holden’s and Ford’s continuing the ever lasting war for superiority. Inn the end, no matter who won what category, the crowd came out on top with an excellent day out.

The burnout competition proved popular not only with the crowd, but also the entrants with all of the drivers trying their best to take out the crown of Burnout King. Queen Street also brought out their infamous candy red Ferrari 360 Modena for a spin on the tarmac. Much to the delight of the crowd, the Ferrari was able to lay some rubber and create some smoke. The lowriders entertained the crowds whilst martials cleaned the pad in between contestants.
